Meta Makeover is on today – Sunday, 18th May at the SLCN studios in Northpoint – and everyone is welcome.
But why the picture of sushi?
Well, the challenge facing our designer today is to create a fantastic home using only slightly more prims than we found in one of Satu Moreau’s wonderful plates of sushi served in the Japanese restaurant on the Galaxy in our last meta makeover!
That’s right. You’ll find 106 prims on this plate of Satu’s sushi … and our designer has 120 prims to make over a whole house!
But if you do come to the studio, there’s a fantastic gift for everyone in the audience. You’ll win a week’s holiday, staying in a hotel on the Chelsea sim.
That’s right – everyone who attends our live show will win a week’s free stay in virtual London! So make sure you get there early!
The programme is presented by Saffia Widdershins, the Editor of Prim Perfect Magazine – and in the studio she’ll also be talking to Debs Regent, owner of the London sims, and to London Director Timber Oceanline, her assisant, who’ll be telling us about ways in which he’s been cutting down on lag in London.
And we’ll be showing you something of life in the London – and we’ll have a very special cameo appearance in the show too. So don’t miss it!
The show starts at 12 noon SLT, but you should be there by 11.45 to make sure of getting a seat – and a week in an virtual London hotel!
We’ll see you there!
Would you like your home to feature on Meta Makeover? Send an email to us with three or four pictures of your home attached, and stating your reasons why you would like a makeover. Every two weeks, we shall select one lucky owner from our postbag and invite them to be our next Meta Makeover!
“For this show, I wanted a really sixties feel to my clothes,” explains Saffia. “I love the Jenna coat; it’s short and sassy, but very stylish – just right for Swinging London!
“I also wanted to keep the sixties feel for what I wear in the studio. Neferia Abel has just produced a lovely new range of sixties outfits so really, I was spoilt for choice! In the end, I fell in love with the colours of Ellisiv and went for that. It was hard to decide on the blue – I also love the green, the purple and the outrageous orange – so expect to be seeing something of these in future shows!”
