In this show, we set out to help Iris Seale, the editor of the popular fashion magazine, Second Style find her prefab dream home.
So we’ve been explored the grid, looking for a suitable home … and did we find one? You bet we did!
There was some tough competition, with a beautiful beach house designed by Rosario Carbetta of 1k Designs, and a gorgeous Roman villa by Zandi Moe of Organised Confusion. But once Iris saw the new home designed by Bethany Heart and furnished by Colleen Desmoulins (the fabulous team behind The Loft) her heart was lost.
Currently, it is being created on the beautiful sim of Pemberley (and we explore the lovely landscape there designed by Aradia Dielli and created by Tobias Novi). It contains some fantastic effects to make it feel like a family home – with wonderful interactivity in the kitchen – as Colleen and Bethany demonstrate – and in the bedroom – as Elrik and Colleen demonstrate – while ensuring that this stays a family-friendly show!
In addition, this represents the first time that The Loft have made children’s furniture – and that too is well worth a look!
Oh, and those people who came to see the show go a rather fabulous gift – a prefab cafe designed by The Loft.
