Join Designing Worlds at 2pm today, Monday 16th November at our studio in Garden of Dreams, as we visit the Seanchai Library – a home for spoken word storytelling in Second Life.
We first visited the Library (as part of a trip to the West of Ireland) back in 2010, and there are some familiar elements. But much has changed as our guide, Caledonia Skytower explains, with a variety of venues now available for spoken performances. We learn about regular popular events, and join the audience for an extract from Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, read by Corwyn Allen, which forms part of the very popular Tea Time at Baker Street series, and a story read by Caledonia herself.
Finally, we learn about the plans for the year’s Dickens Festival for Christmas.
It is going to be a really interesting show, with some great storytelling, so make sure you join us, at 2pm today!
Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in to the web at 2pm SLT on Monday for a showing on SLartist or on Treet – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site at http://treet.tv/shows/designingworlds, on the SLArtist.com channel, the Aview TV Designing Worlds channel – or on the Designing Worlds blog.
