Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 27th June, for the new episode of Designing Worlds at our studio in Garden of Dreams as we visit the beautiful island of Rocca Sorrentina, an imagining of a late eighteenth century island in the Bay of Naples.
We are joined by two of the people behind Rocca Sorrentina (or Principal Magistrates as they are called) Aldo Stern and Sere Timeless. They take us on a journey of discovery as we learn about the rich culture that flourished in the Kingdom of Naples (much visited on the Grand Tour), and the history that lay behind it, reaching back to the lost cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Vesuvius.
And we also learn about the culture and exhibitions staged by Rocca Sorrentina, as Elrik explores a fascinating exhibition on the history of the Tarot … and we learn of upcoming exhibitions too.
So come and join us at 2pm for a fascinating and beautiful show.
Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in to the web at 2pm SLT on Monday for a showing on SLartist or on Treet – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site at http://treet.tv/shows/designingworlds, on the SLArtist.com channel, the Aview TV Designing Worlds channel – or on the Designing Worlds blog.
