Join us at 2pm SLT today, Monday 18th December, for the new episode of Designing Worlds at our studio in Garden of Dreams in Second Life, as we explore some of the regions that are great places to visit to get you in the holiday mood!

First of all we take a trip to Groenland Kangamiut, better known to many of you as Greenland, created by Kaelyn Alecto. Then we move on to Banditoswald Citadel, a beautiful winter region created for the season by Andrej, which contains some great rides, skating lakes – and even dragon rides – as Elrik finds out! We should point out, however, that this region is flagged adult as there are some private romantic spots that people can discover.

Then we visit The Dickens Project on LEA 7 and talk to the two people behind it – Caledonia Skytower and Aoife Lorefield before we take a super tour of the whole region. Then finally we visit the Linden Winter Wonderland region (accessed through the Portal Park), and talk to Xiola Linden about some of the treats that the region offers (and we try out the snowball fight and the snowboarding course) – and other Linden plans for Christmas, especially Second Life’s annual Holiday Shop & Hop event. It’s a chance to fill your stockings and your shopping bags with clothing, hair, furniture, decor, and more. Event held Dec. 15 to Jan. 1.

And that’s the end of this season – although we have a Designing Worlds session on Monday January 1st 2018 at our usual time of 2pm SLT. Watch this space for more information!
